A little about me

I love Jesus Christ first and most.

I have spent too many years chasing after silly things. I’ve wound up alone, homeless and angry at myself and everyone around me. I remember the day that I prayed a prayer with my last 67 cents in my pocket. I didn’t think he would run after someone like me. I quickly realized He had never once left my side. Yeah, I love him beyond words and broken promises. I am all in.

I love my family BIG.

I am married to my teenage sweetheart from over 30 years ago. My Lisa and I were married April 1st (yes that’s true) 2017 We have 4 daughters, Haley Raine, Emily Paige, Piper Wren and Mia Moon! Lisa has a daughter in Heaven, sweet Kalee. We adopted Piper and Mia Moon in a beautiful journey that made me decide to take 2 years off from music to take care of my family. Yes, they are that important. It was an easy decision.

I love to create music

I have a knack for all things music. For many years of my earlier (young and dumb days) life, I always looked at music not as a gift but leverage and opportunity. I wanted to be the best at anything I did and it became very stressful and maddening when I fell short of my goals. Today, I view it as a gift and opportunity to help people meet Christ. I mean, I love music but it is all about so much more than just a song.

Boomerang - I hold on loosely

I have let go of music many times to grow up, focus on marriage, focus on our children, take care of someone sick in our family. I have simply stepped away to come back and see things differently. It always comes back and I have never regretted taking a break. Sometimes we can want things too much. I remind myself that God does not move quickly, He moves suddenly. Trust Him.
